Dream surf van / wagon / truck - number 7

This is 'The Boss'. A surf vehicle I know and love - a dream surf van I've cruised around in.

Here's Maddog piling on a quiver of 6 boards after a session at Spouts Creek. The Boss is a Nissan Patrol on LPG and is as awesome as Maddog himself.

The Boss is part of what we call 'The Method of Maddog'.

When the Baberahams do a weekend getaway down the coast Maddog will often drive down on Friday night and kick up his heels, we'll go for a session in the morning then he and The Boss will head back to Melbourne for a party in the late afternoon then drive back down to return to the lounge room dancing at 2am in the morning. So about 8 hours of driving in 24 hours with a bunch of surfing and dancing in between. He'll also be one of the first in the surf for the morning session on the Sunday.

And that's why I love him.
